UC & Work Refusal in Pennsylvania

Some recalled employees are refusing to return to work because they prefer collecting unemployment benefits. To notify the PA Unemployment Department of such refusals, a new form has been created: UC-1921W Refusal of Suitable Work Form

Employers should also review their statements of unemployment compensation charges very closely. We have heard from a number of clients that they are being charged for claims for which they should not be charged under Act 9 of 2020, because the claims are COVID-related.
