Tom Hoffman Speaks on Legal Strategies to Protect Forest Land

Tom Hoffman will present at this week's Forest Landowners Conference, hosted by the James C. Finley Center for Private Forests at Penn State.

The event includes two days of presentations, exhibits, field tours, workshops, conversation opportunities, and more. Tom's session is on Friday: Legal Strategies to Protect Your Forest Land for Future Generations."

The session will review estate planning tools and strategies that can help protect land for future generations. Strategies include the use of income only trusts for Medicaid/long‑term care planning, and generational trusts for multi‑generational family planning.

At Knox Law, Tom concentrates his practice on closely held business planning, business succession planning, implementation of sophisticated estate and trust planning, administration of complex estates and trusts, and the tax consequences of these matters.
