Tim Wachter Speaks on Short-Term Rentals for PSATS
Short-term rentals, such as VRBO, Airbnb, and others have been a hot button issue for local municipalities. Tim Wachter spoke on the topic in August at the regional forum of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS).
They have since asked him to repeat the topic, which he will do tomorrow, October 12, via webinar. Over 50 townships are signed up to learn more about short-term rental issues, such as resident complaints, registration, and zoning challenges.
At Knox Law, as a member of the Governmental, Public Finance & Bonds and Business & Tax Practice Groups, and as lead for Knox Law Public Strategies, Tim regularly advises governmental, business and nonprofit clients on highly complex legal, regulatory and public policy related matters. He also regularly provides counsel on matters related to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law to dozens of agencies throughout Western Pennsylvania, is recognized as a national thought leader in Federal Opportunity Zone Development and regularly advises businesses and stakeholders regarding Opportunity Zone investments.
