Robert G. Dwyer, shareholder, received the 2016 Alexis de Tocqueville Award from the United Way of Erie County at yesterday’s dinner ceremony.
The Tocqueville Award, one of Erie’s most prestigious honors for those who render extraordinary community service, “recognizes outstanding volunteer service to our community through personal leadership and long-time commitment.”
As the United Way notes, Mr. Dwyer has been a premier volunteer in our community for decades, donating his time, talent and expertise in numerous ways to help make Erie County a better place to live.
He has served the United Way of Erie County in many ways; specifically as chair of the board of directors and at-large board member, and as a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Professional Advisory Committee, the Legacy and Endowment Steering Committee, and the Board of Corporators.
At Knox Law, Mr. Dwyer concentrates his practice on Business & Tax and Estate Planning & Administration.
We congratulate Mr. Dwyer on his decades of service to the United Way of Erie County, to our community, and to our firm.
