Nadia Havard Speaks About Long-Term Part-Time Employees and 401k Plan Coverage

On Tuesday, June 21, Nadia Havard will speak at the monthly HR Roundtable meeting at the Manufacturer & Business Association. Her topic is "Long-Term Part-Time Employees and 401(k) Plan Coverage."

Under the SECURE Act, employers with 401(k) plan will have to start covering long-term part-time employees as soon as 2024. If SECURE 2.0 is passed, the coverage might be required as of 2023. Nadia will discuss what employers must and may do in order to avoid penalties.
