Michael Musone Successfully Defends Tax Assessment Appeal

Michael J. Musone, Shareholder, recently successfully defended a tax assessment appeal on behalf of the Warren County Board of Assessment Appeals, saving the taxing bodies in Warren County from losing over $30,000 in annual tax revenue.

A property owner sought to decrease the tax assessment on a multi-million-dollar manufacturing facility in Warren, Pennsylvania by half. Following the hearing, during which the parties presented evidence from expert appraisers, the Court rejected the taxpayer's request to reduce its assessment.

Mr. Musone is a full-time litigator who focuses his practice on the legal defense of commercial enterprises and insurance companies. He also practices Orphan’s Court litigation, including will contests, trusts and estate matters.
