Michael J. Musone Successful in Commonwealth Court on Behalf of School District

Michael J. Musone, shareholder at Knox Law, recently received a favorable decision for a Pennsylvania school district before the Commonwealth Court, reversing a trial court decision in a tax assessment case.

In a commercial property valuation case, the trial court substantially reduced the property’s assessed value following a hearing during which the parties presented competing expert appraisals. On appeal, the Commonwealth reversed this decision, setting the property’s taxable value for the entire amount originally established by the assessment board.

At Knox Law, Attorney Musone is a full-time litigator who focuses his practice on the legal defense of commercial enterprises and insurance companies. He also practices Orphan’s Court litigation, including will contests, trusts and estate matters.
