Knox Law Institute Hosts 6th Annual Professional Advisor Symposium

Knox Law Institute, which offers education on a variety of legal topics, hosted its 6th annual Professional Advisor Symposium in Erie on October 25, 2018.

Over 100 financial and insurance professionals learned from our attorneys on topics such as business succession and the Family Private Equity Model, special needs trusts, employee plans compliance, intellectual property, trustee litigation, Opportunity Zones & Funds, and more.

Attendees also heard from keynote speaker Keith Taylor, Ph.D., President of Gannon University, on how higher education is an economic driver for our region.

The event was repeated in Cranberry Township on November 1, 2018, with most of the same topics, and featuring Allegheny County Solicitor Andy Szefi as keynote speaker. Nearly 20 attendees benefited from this education and networking event just outside Pittsburgh.

We look forward to next year's event - Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Erie, and TBD in the Pittsburgh area.
