Knox Law Hosts Seminar on New PA Overtime Regulations
Knox Law will host a seminar on Friday, November 8th on the recent overtime regulations issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.
Julia M. Herzing, Shareholder, will speak about the new regulations, which become effective January 1, 2020 and affect private employers in Pennsylvania.
At this session, Ms. Herzing will address:
- Differences between the updated regulations under the FLSA and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act, including Pennsylvania’s upcoming higher salary threshold;
- Tips on what employers need to do now to prepare for these changes; and
- A preview of future changes under the updated regulations.
Ms. Herzing’s practice focuses on a variety of labor & employment matters, including litigation. She works with both private and public employers, counseling and representing clients on compliance with workplace laws, hiring and firing issues, collective bargaining, and defense of discrimination, wage and hour, and other employment-related claims. Ms. Herzing also advises public and private educational institutions on Title IX matters, including investigations and responding to complaints.
