Knox Law Hosts Five Summer Associates
Knox Law is pleased to host five summer associates this year: John (JP) Jarecki, Hannah Marmaro, Rimaz Mustfa, Renato Santos and Karina Virk. Our summer associate program offers real-world experience for current law school students.
JP is returning to Knox Law for his second summer. Prior to law school, JP graduated from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, earning a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in English. He is currently a second year law student (2L) at University of Dayton School of Law. He is Editor-In-Chief of the Law Review and a Dean’s Fellow.
Hannah is a first year law student (1L) at Penn State Law, where she is the President and Founder of the Disability Law Caucus. She is a 2019 graduate of the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, with a master’s degree in English Literature, and she served in the United States Navy. Her interests include 19th Century British Literature and History.
Rimaz is a 1L at the Mississippi College School of Law. Originally from Sudan, Rimaz grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in International Politics and a minor in Spanish. Rimaz is the Vice President of the Women’s Student Bar Association and a 1L representative for the Black Law Student Association, as well as a Dean’s Ambassador for the Law School’s Office of Admissions. She speaks Spanish and Arabic.
Renato is a 1L at Penn State Law. He is a 2020 graduate of Stevenson University in Owings Mills, MD, earning a B.S. in Legal Studies. He is fluent in Portuguese. His interests include World War II and Cold War History.
Karina is a 2L at Penn State Law, where she serves as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Law and International Affairs. She is a 2018 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, earning a B.A. in Business Administration and International Business.
Knox Law is also hosting a summer intern, Anna Foust, who will be helping with various tasks in our office. Anna is an incoming senior at Duquesne University, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Psychology and History.
