Knox Law Attorneys Speak at PASBO Meeting in Clarion
Five Knox Law attorneys will speak at Friday's meeting for Keystone Shortway Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) in Clarion, Pennsylvania. The meeting will include school district business managers from Intermediate Units #6 and #9.
Attorney Mark Wassell will discuss the Family and Medical Leave Act and Jennifer Gornall will discuss special education updates and a brief brush-up on Title IX.
After these sessions, three other Knox Law attorneys will conduct "20 Legal Tips in 40 Minutes," including updates/tips on school police officers, vaping, medical marijuana, public finance, and more. Attorneys offering tips are Timothy Wachter, Robert Zaruta, and Christopher Sennett.
Knox Law currently represents around 40 school districts and intermediate units in Pennsylvania, offering extensive knowledge and experience in responding to legal issues facing educators, as well as in identifying emerging opportunities and challenges.
