Frances A. McCormick Joins Two Community Boards
Frances A. McCormick has recently been appointed to serve on the board of the Mercy Center for Women as well as the Advisory Board for the Mercyhurst University Walker School of Business and Communication.
The Mercy Center for Women provides long term (up to 1 year) transitional housing and support services to homeless women with or without children, and “is committed to enhancing the dignity of each person we serve through healing of body, mind and spirit.” Ms. McCormick takes over the position previously held by Bryan G. Baumann.
The Walker School of Business and Communication at Mercyhurst University is accredited by the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education. The school provides higher education in Business, Communication, Fashion Merchandising, Hospitality Management and Organizational Leadership. The goal of the Advisory Board is to help the Walker School reach “higher levels of excellence.”
