Bob Zaruta Discusses Employment Issues & Their Impact on Nonprofits

Bob Zaruta is speaking at the upcoming program "Hot Topics in Employment Law & How Knox Law Can Help," hosted by The Nonprofit Partnership.

Bob will review major trends in employment law that specifically affect nonprofits: (1) modernizing employee-related processes to ensure consistency and avoid liability, and (2) updating employee handbooks.

"As someone who has served on the boards of several small to mid-sized non-profit organizations, I have seen first-hand the impact employee-related challenges can have on operations and budgets," Bob says. "For these organizations, taking the time to properly develop and streamline employee-related policies and procedures is vitally important to protect the organization from liability. In addition, it will save your organization time and resources, which we all know are limited."
