Alexander K. Cox Included in Inaugural Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch
Alexander K. Cox was included in the inaugural edition of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for his work in Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Law. He joins fifteen Knox Law attorneys recognized by Best Lawyers in 2021.
Best Lawyers in America®, first published in 1983, is the oldest and most respected peer review publication in the legal profession. The new "Ones to Watch" list recognizes private practice attorneys who are earlier in their career - typically in practice 5-9 years.
According to their website, the "Ones to Watch" methodology "remains the same as it did when Best Lawyers was founded almost 40 years ago: peer-review. Lawyers are the best resource to provide feedback on the caliber of work performed by their peers."
At Knox Law, Mr. Cox focuses his practice on litigating complex and commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country. He has significant experience in a wide variety of subject matters, including contract, business, and intellectual property disputes, along with labor and employment litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, trusts and estate disputes, and appellate and constitutional law practice. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to protecting clients’ intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and thus he has significant trademark application and prosecution experience before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
He was named to Forbes magazine’s nationwide “30 Under 30” list for law and policy in 2012.
