Let's Talk
If you are seeking legal services, we should have a conversation about:
How we strive to achieve each client's objectives
The principal tenet of Our Mission is to achieve our clients’ objectives.
We serve our clients by providing earnest and attentive advocacy and counsel grounded in a comprehensive knowledge of the industries in which our clients operate. Our broad-based team approach enables us to leverage individual attorney strengths, assuring that clients benefit from our collective experience. Learn more about our attorneys, our practice areas, the industries we serve, and our unique Public Strategies service.
How we invest in our people
Another important tenet of Our Mission is to invest in people who will best serve our clients.
Professional excellence in the practice of law requires dedicated, hard-working attorneys and support staff. Our firm promotes mutual respect, cooperation, collegiality, and open communication.
We also understand that competitive compensation and benefits, challenging and rewarding work, and recognition for a job well done are important to our employees.
We strive to be fair and consistent at all times. Our efforts pay off with a very high retention of our most valuable resource — our people. Learn more about careers at Knox Law.
How we are thought leaders
In achieving our clients’ objectives, our attorneys become well versed in the myriad of legal issues affecting clients’ professional and personal lives. We enjoy sharing this knowledge through speaking engagements, webinars and articles.
Many events and articles are related to our Knox Law Institute®, through which we host 4-6 programs per year, including our popular Municipal Law Symposium, for public entities; Workplace Law Forum, for business owners and human resource professionals; and Professional Advisor Symposium, for accounting, financial and insurance professionals.
Attendees to our annual Professional Advisor Symposium also receive detailed outlines specific to that year’s topics. Many of the publications are also available on our site. We have also been recognized nationally for thought leadership regarding Opportunity Zones, via Knox Law Public Strategies.

Our attorneys include title insurance agents, certified public accountants, and members of the bars of several states (including Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, Alaska, and the District of Columbia).
We strive to be a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. Learn more about our history and careers at Knox Law.

How we serve our communities
Part of Our Mission is “to be leaders in our profession and the community.”
We strive to make our community a better place to live by supporting many civic, charitable, and cultural organizations through our personal involvement and financial contributions. This commitment is firm wide and ranges from one-on-one tutoring of children to major leadership roles in nonprofit organizations.
Our attorneys have a long history of service to professional organizations as well, including leadership positions at the Erie County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers, and Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund and Trust Fund. Members of the firm have been elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Foundation, the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, and the American Law Institute.
The firm has also supported civil legal aid in many ways. Members of the firm were among the founders of Northwestern Legal Services and have served on its board as well as on the board of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network. All members of the firm are encouraged to provide pro bono assistance through Erie County's Legal Aid Volunteer Attorneys Program or Nonprofit Pro Bono Project, and by direct service to charitable organizations. How we have worldwide capacity
Along with our regional offices (Erie and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Jamestown, New York), we are able to serve clients’ needs throughout the country and around the world through our affiliation with Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW), a global association of 90 independent law firms located in over 200 jurisdictions.
With access to more than 4,500 lawyers worldwide, membership in LAW allows member firms to service the legal needs of clients that are expanding their operations and relationships into new domestic and foreign markets.
