Employer's Duty to Accommodate Under the ADA and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

Join us for an educational session covering the ADA and PWFA.

This one-hour program will review the accommodation obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and examine the recent regulations requiring employers to accommodate pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions.

Topics include:

  • Review the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) regulations that were implemented on June 18, 2024
  • Review the concept of "reasonable accommodation" found in the ADA
  • Examine the rights and obligations of employers when addressing workplace issues that arise under the ADA and PWFA
